I’m just curious. Are your daily routines better now that you’re working from home? Why or why not?

I’m still new working from home, but you’ll get use to your routine as time passes by.

This is a multi part question, but keeping in mind that each situation is unique.  Working from home generally introduces different challenges to working from the office in turn creating new routines.

In the US, often when someone begins working from home, it is eye opening for both employee and employer.

    Employers are results driven.

Now that offices are back to business as usual when an employee shifts to working from home, the employer expectation is that the employee will be more productive or provide better results.  It would be detrimental for the business to allow their employees to work from home and allow production to take a hit.

Keeping that in mind, a high performance employee often ends up working more hours, shifts to a results driven mindset, and either embraces or rejects the work from home lifestyle.  The daily routine will adjust to accommodate the expectations of the employer.

If the expectations are too demanding, then the role of working from home may not be a good fit between applicant and employer.
