It really depends on the kind of work that you will be doing. Try out the job with your current internet plan first and do the assessment. If you think that your current internet speed doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for the job you’re doing, or if the quality of your work is affected, then these are good indicators that you need to upgrade your current internet plan.
But for ideas, I think a minimum of 10 mbps is already good.
This will depend on the role/responsibilities of the job. If the net is too slow, video conferencing will not be smooth. It’s difficult to share why you are the best person for the job when the video is constantly cutting off or stuttering.
